- electrochemical method: a sodium iodide solution is added to an electrolytic cell for electrolytic oxidation to obtain a sodium iodate solution, which is concentrated by evaporation, cooled for crystallization, centrifuged for separation, and dried to obtain sodium iodate.
- potassium chlorate oxidation method: iodine and sodium chlorate are added into the reactor according to a certain ratio of ingredients and water, and the pH value of the solution is adjusted to 1~2 with nitric acid. The solution was boiled by heating with stirring, the reaction was complete and the chlorine gas was removed. Cool the solution to room temperature, precipitate sodium hydrogen iodate crystals, after filtration, dissolve the crystals with hot water, add caustic soda to neutralize the solution to pH 10, and then cool the crystals, centrifuge, drying, the preparation of sodium iodate products.
